The position will be responsible for providing technician support for BAS, maintenance agreements, system upgrades, and controls related service requests.**Location:**Raleigh, NC - Onsite**What you will do:*** Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships* Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems* Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers* Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming* Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians* Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects* Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications* Provide training and follow-ups for Customers and operations personnel* Complete work orders and review with customers for accuracy* Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively**What’s in it for you:*** Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on the job training in the HVAC Industry* The opportunity to work on all types of commercial equipment and cutting-edge technologies such as Intelligent Equipment, Magnetic Bearing Technology, and VRF Technology* Daikin Applied provides technicians with company vehicle, laptops, mobile devices, and other technologies* The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth* The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best* The opportunity to work for a leading innovator in HVAC and make a difference in environmental initiatives to create a more sustainable world for all**Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED.* 3+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility.* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.* Ability to lift 50lbs with or without an accommodation.* Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience in BAS, HVAC, or related industry.* Proficiency with test instruments and calibration tools.* Competency in operation of engineering/commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices, BACnet protocol fundamentals.* Competency in the operation of HVAC equipment and controls.* Ability to understand written sequences of operation.* Ability to read low voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams.* Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification.* Experience with any common integration protocols such as: BACnet MST / IP, LON, Modbus TCP / RTU, Ethernet OIP, MQTT, or SQL.* Strong computer skills, including computer networking fundamentals.* Good verbal and written communication skills.* Customer-focused, results-oriented professional, and strong team player.* Motivated self-starter that demonstrates initiative.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.* Current first aid / CPR card.The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $31.60 - $50.37 in NC. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
