Research Assistant

Job Duties/Responsibilities 90% Research Conduct research related to specific externally funded projects, including setting up experiments, collecting and analyzing data, troubleshooting challenges, and assisting graduate and undergraduate students on the project, as needed Develop, read and evaluate AI systems impacting real-world experiments and optimizing workflows Supports daily laboratory functioning and equipment maintenance May be asked to contribute to papers or presentations related to research. Attend lab meetings with the entire research group and one-on-one meetings, as needed Attend relevant lectures and training sessions Maintain the highest safety standards that adhere to University policy Assist other lab/community members, as needed This is a short-term position with an expected end date of December 23, 2026. Schedule Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week Qualifications Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least four years.
