Account Executive

DSI is seeking a motivated and customer-focused DIRECTV Sales Representative to join our growing sales team in Urbandale, Iowa or Kennesaw, GA. This role is responsible for selling DIRECTV services to residential and business customers through a combination of inbound lead management, outbound prospecting, and participation in community events and trade shows. This position requires strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, organizational discipline, and a culture-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Manage and respond promptly to inbound sales leads via phone, email, and other communication channels Generate new business through outbound calling, prospecting, referrals, and follow-up activities Sell DIRECTV products and services to residential and commercial customers Maintain a professional, consultative sales approach focused on understanding customer needs and delivering the right solution Participate in trade shows, community events, partner events, and other sales opportunities throughout the year Track and manage sales opportunities through the sales pipeline from initial contact to completed sale Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, activities, and opportunities within company systems Provide timely follow-up on all customer inquiries and sales opportunities Review weekly and monthly pipeline activity with leadership and peers Collaborate with teammates to share best practices, support team goals, and contribute to a positive work environment Represent DSI and DIRECTV with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm Qualifications Required Previous sales experience, customer service experience, or a combination of both Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers Excellent organizational and time-management skills Comfortable making outbound calls and working with sales goals Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to work full-time from the Urbandale, IA or Kennesaw, GA office Preferred Experience in telecommunications, technology, satellite TV, internet, or related industries Experience working trade shows, events, or face-to-face sales opportunities Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Requirements Previous experience selling into the MDU space is required 10+ years of sales experience is required 5+ years of management experience is required Knowledge of the telecommunications & entertainment industry is preferred Benefits Medical, Dental & Life insurance are available on the first day of the month following your first day of employment - no extended waiting period! 401k Plan with employer matching Paid vacation, personal/sick days, and bereavement time Employee Profit Sharing Program 50% AT&T wireless discount Paid training Advancement opportunities, we prefer to promote from within! #J-18808-Ljbffr
