Portfolio Program Manager

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Portfolio Program Manager for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas. This is a 12‑month contract. The pay range is $55.00 – $74.07 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). What We’re Looking For Collaborative and analytically strong Portfolio Program Manager to drive visibility, alignment, and informed decision‑making across strategic initiatives. Partner with leaders to track initiative progress, provide accurate quarterly spend views, and respond to portfolio‑related requests supporting planning and execution. Work across teams, turning complex data into meaningful insights and helping leaders make confident decisions. Responsibilities Strategic Initiative Tracking Track and communicate monthly status across multiple strategic initiatives, including progress, risks, blockers, next steps, and quantified benefits realized or expected. Create executive‑ready status reports, dashboards, and scorecards that show initiative health, milestone progress, financial performance, and business impact. Quarterly Spend Management Own and improve a process and template that provide a comprehensive view of team, product, and platform costs, maintained monthly and refreshed quarterly. Prepare executive‑ready summaries and support review discussions. Identify unused funds and recommend reinvestment opportunities. Partner with A&F to explain major variances from traditional financial reporting. Ad Hoc Portfolio Requests Support portfolio‑related requests from cross‑functional partners, including Enterprise Technology Solution Architecture, Strategy, Vendor Management Office, and Human Resources. Document and streamline processes for pulling data from multiple reports and systems for analysis, reporting, and recommendations. Improve efficiency and scalability through queries, automation, and dashboards. Qualifications (Must Haves) Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, economics, engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in a project management office, program management, portfolio operations, or strategy within a large enterprise. Strong MS Office suite experience. Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, PivotTables, Power Pivot) and strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to build relationships and influence across teams. Strong financial acumen: forecasting, spend tracking, variance management, and executive reporting. Highly organized, self‑directed, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities. Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree. Experience supporting executive leadership in a chief‑of‑staff type capacity and creating reporting cadences. SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets. Power BI and Jira experience.
