Occupational Therapist Inpatient Rehab

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist for our Inpatient Rehab team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide evidence-based occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population recovering from orthopedic, neurologic, medical, and post-surgical conditions. Working within an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and case managers, you will design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence, safety, and successful transition to home or the next level of care. Responsibilities include performing thorough assessments, establishing measurable goals, delivering hands-on therapeutic interventions, training patients and families in adaptive techniques and equipment, documenting care according to regulatory and hospital standards, and actively participating in team conferences and discharge planning. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating current clinical best practices, participating in quality initiatives, mentoring students or new staff as appropriate, and supporting UCHealth’s commitment to innovative, patient-centered care.
