Requirements

• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist - Required
• Proof of current CPR certification - Required
• Current driver's license - Required
• Reliable transportation and insurance - Required
• Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required
• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and suitability for treatment.
• Document and maintain patient care records including Plan of Care, progress notes, and relevant communication.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions addressing patients' range of motion, strength, coordination, and safety in daily activities.
• Evaluate patients' occupational performance across various life areas including self-care, work, and leisure.
• Apply infection control measures in patient care activities to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding patient status and progress.
