Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in Salida, CO. This travel assignment begins 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks in a Critical Access Hospital setting. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,389 to $2,572. Shifts are 4x10-hour days, with a Tuesday–Friday schedule and an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile fields, and assist the surgeon and circulating nurse as needed.
- Monitor patient status during anesthesia, manage vital signs, and respond to intraoperative changes.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate positioning; apply monitoring devices and equipment as required.
- Document intraoperative events, maintain clear communication with the OR team, and coordinate post-anesthesia care as indicated.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; manage specimens and implants per policy.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state.
- Active CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
- Ability to work in a surgical unit within a Critical Access Hospital.
- Availability to fulfill the scheduled shift and participate in the on-call rotation.
