Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients within the PCU, adhering to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to support patient recovery and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months in the specified specialty area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred; additional related education or professional certification is also desirable.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing a patient's physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Care delivery includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patient education, and documentation reflecting care interventions and patient responses. Responsibilities also include participating in quality improvement activities and supporting unit leadership in clinical initiatives. The role may involve supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel as needed.
