Staffing Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Staffing Specialist is to recruit, interview and hire qualified employees. The Staffing Specialist is responsible for deciding on recruiting techniques and strategies to be used to recruit employees as well as managing job postings, ads and recruiting databases. The Staffing Specialist builds quality relationships with candidates and current employees while meeting or exceeding recruitment goals. Major Responsibilities: Decides which applicants to hire Decides how many employees need to be hired and what skills those employees need to meet client demand Decides techniques and strategies to be used to recruit employees Conducts interviews with applicants in adherence with state and federal employment laws Uses Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) to build and maintain a large pool of qualified candidate Manages job postings including external job boards Schedules and tracks all interviews in ATS Reviews, completes, submits, and maintains hiring paperwork for employees and new hires Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Job Requirements: Prior Recruitment/Staffing experience is highly preferred Work in high-energy team environment Be self-motivated and goal oriented Have desire to constantly interact/communicate with various personalities maintaining solid working relationships with both skilled trade workers and our sales personnel Must be dependable, responsible, have a good attitude and be willing to work hard It is essential to be capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Detail oriented with a strong desire to problem solve Customer service mentality Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job The salary for this position is $55,000-$60,000. Employees in this position may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for bonus payments on top of the salary payments described above provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable bonus plan.
