Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient scenarios and devise tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength-building, balance, and functional improvement
• Engage in collaboration with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions for coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a corresponding degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, orthopedic) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred
