Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary:
Hog Slat, Inc., the world's leading provider of equipment and turnkey facilities to the swine and poultry industries, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with excellent customer service skills to join the team at our location in Newton Grove, NC

As a n Accounts Payable/Customer Service Clerk your primary responsibilities will be to handle accounts payable entry, assistance with invoice processing, receiving & routing of incoming calls and general administrative duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.

• Review and verify invoices
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Set up invoices for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into system
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Maintain vendor files
• Greeting and assisting customers

Skill/Knowledge Required:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:

• 3+ years of recent experience in an office administrator role
• Previous accounts payable experience is required
• Must have very strong data entry/typing/computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to use Outlook Email, Word, Excel, in daily communications
• Ability to easily become proficient at using Hog Slat's inventory management software.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
• A friendly and professional demeanor is required
• Must have high school diploma, administrative certification or 2-year degree preferred
