Validation Engineer

Location: Petaluma, CA

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $55-$65/hr DOE

Position Summary

Kelly Engineering is seeking experienced Validation Engineers for an urgent contract opportunity supporting a growing medical device manufacturer in Petaluma, CA.

The team is seeking hands-on validation professionals capable of immediately contributing to ongoing manufacturing and commercialization projects through validation protocol authoring, review, and verification activities.

Responsibilities

• Author IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols and reports
• Review and verify validation documentation
• Support manufacturing and commercialization initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
• Support validation efforts involving RO water systems and gas systems
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and applicable quality standards
• Support project execution within a fast-paced startup environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Validation Engineering experience
• Experience authoring IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports
• Medical Device and/or Combination Product experience
• ISO 13485 experience
• GMP-regulated manufacturing experience
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Ability to start within one week

Preferred Qualifications

• Utilities validation experience
• RO water system experience
• Gas system experience
• Validation review and verification experience
