HR Operations Supervisor (Employee Onboarding) Lead and oversee staff across HR operations functions, including New Employee Onboarding, I‑9 verification, background checks, and the HR Services Center. Ensure high‑touch customer service and manage pre‑hire and post‑hire processes, such as offer acceptance, background screening coordination, I‑9 compliance, system access, and orientation organization. Hybrid work schedule: three days in the office per week with additional remote work as needed. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : Four years of professional experience in one or more areas of human resource management. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

JOB DUTIES

Provide accurate and efficient resolutions to complex and/or escalated issues and inquiries through multiple channels by following appropriate methodology and utilizing knowledge management tools. Lead the HR Services team to ensure delivery of high‑level customer service and address all Tier 1 inquiries across HR functions. Partner with other HR functions on tier 0 (self‑service) and tier 1 document management. Support business process upgrades, enhancements, testing, and data validation in HR systems. Supervise workflow of the HR Service Center team to ensure optimal efficiency while maintaining high standards of service. Coach and train the team to ensure the highest level of compliance and manage individual performance. Interpret policies and procedures to determine necessary resolution of PeopleSoft HCM issues. Serve as subject‑matter expert on a wide variety of HR projects for HR Service Center processes. Gather and estimate resources required for project and planning purposes. Support data quality audits and initiate additional audits to mitigate errors or issues. Analyze and ensure that complex payroll/personnel transaction issues are addressed and resolved. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure data integrity in PeopleSoft HCM. Verify and ensure records files are prepared and complete for regulatory review/audits. Provide technical support and required PS HCM training to university managers and coworkers. Manage and coordinate data compliance and protection for HR systems with Records Management, State Comptroller, and State Auditor. Review, recommend, and implement processes and procedures to improve service. Research and gather information for subpoenas and Texas Open Records Act requests. Work with technical resources to manage exception processes, minimizing impact on related processes. Research and resolve department issues regarding Time & Labor and Leave and Absence requests. Develop and create high‑level metrics and performance reports for management. Provide vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for cost‑effective department development while facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs. Drive onboarding efforts from offer acceptance through pre‑onboarding to orientation. Perform other related duties as assigned.
