We're hiring Welder II and Welder III professionals for 2nd Shift at a growing manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach. This is a full-time, onsite position offering competitive pay, a 15% shift differential, overtime opportunities, and the potential to convert to a permanent employee.Shift2nd Shift15% Shift DifferentialWhat You'll DoPerform MIG, TIG, wire, spot, and oxy/acetylene welding.Fabricate and assemble structural components including frames, I-beams, fuel tanks, and welded assemblies.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Set up materials and equipment for fabrication, assembly, and repairs.Use grinders, sanders, and other hand tools to finish welds and prepare materials.Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or rework as needed.Assist with pressure testing, quality inspections, and final product verification.Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.QualificationsPrevious welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Experience with MIG welding required; TIG experience is a plus.Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.Strong measuring, layout, and basic math skills.Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Vocational welding training preferred.MIG welding certification preferred.TIG certification is a plus.Why Join Us?15% shift differentialCompetitive pay based on experienceFull-time, contract-to-hire opportunityOvertime availableStable manufacturing environmentLong-term career growth opportunities BlackRock Resources
