Workers Compensation Coordinator

Park Nicollet is seeking a Workers Compensation Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Employee Health Services, this position is responsible for the following key functions: overseeing the daily management of the workers' compensation program, including coordination with external agencies and Regions Hospital employees; managing the annual renewal of workers' compensation insurance policies; facilitating effective communication within the department and with other hospital departments; organizing and maintaining department files and resource materials; and supporting collaboration with internal departments and external partners as related to the workers' compensation program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Three years of experience in the healthcare field
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and in written communication.
• Ability to establish working relationships with leaders, staff, outside agencies, the public and physicians.
• Knowledge of OSHA and work comp related standards.
• Ability to analyze complex claims data
• Experience with Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Bachelor's degree
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Workers' compensation claim experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. (100%) - Manages the internal work comp program system wide
2. Special projects as assigned.
