(USA) Member Specialist (Saturday & Sunday Required) Location: Freehold, NJ Overview This role involves delivering frontline member service in a high‑traffic environment, maintaining the checkout and entrance areas, processing transactions, managing merchandise, reinforcing safety, and providing training to new associates. The position requires participation on Saturday and Sunday hours. Responsibilities Provide member service, including greeting, membership verification, and assisting with purchasing decisions. Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas ensuring a safe and organized environment. Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies. Promote Sam’s Club products and services and recommend self‑service technology to members. Perform safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and comply with company security and safety procedures. Document and maintain required paperwork and logs. Assist in the training of new Member Frontline Services associates, including technology usage and program rollouts. Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for enhancement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register. Experience with mobile retail applications. Strong communication and customer service skills. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Premiums may be awarded ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
