Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a day shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and LA state licensure. Requirements CRT or RRT required LA state license required in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable) ACLS and BLS required NRP required to work in NICU PALS preferred Minimum 2 years of experience required, higher experience preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred Epic charting experience required Experience with ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, high frequency jet ventilator, and oscillator Experience with airway management including intubation assist, extubation, and suctioning Experience drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases Experience with neonatal/pediatric equipment and procedures such as bubble CPAP, oscillating ventilator, and high risk delivery assistance Responsibilities Works in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics department performing respiratory therapy and transports within the hospital Day shift 4x12 hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Facility prefers 48 hours per week but is open to a 36/48 rotating schedule Every other weekend required with 2 Fridays in a 4 week schedule No call requirements Epic charting system required Care settings include Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and NICU Responsibilities include medication delivery, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and pulmonary hygiene Experience with care of patients with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, ECMO, and fresh tracheostomy Performs inter-departmental and ambulance patient transport Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at local rate First‑time travelers may not be considered for this position Previous permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-772132 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
