Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher licensure required
• Experience working with K-12 students with severe needs is highly valued
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet a variety of student learning styles
• Collaborate well with colleagues, specialists, and families to promote student achievement
• Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction for students with significant disabilities
• Manage a K-12 caseload, ensuring all IEP goals are met and documented
• Foster a supportive, positive learning environment for all students
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate student services
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in student support meetings
• Communicate proactively with parents, guardians, and educational staff
