Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekends: None
Duration: March 2026 ongoing
Setting: 100% Inpatient Psychiatry Unit (Ages 6 17)
Position Highlights
Role: Locum Psychiatrist providing inpatient care for children and adolescents
Responsibilities include:
- Manage psychiatric care for ages 6 17 in an inpatient setting
- No procedures or surgeries required
- Work independently with robust support from residents, nursing staff, and social workers
- No call coverage required
Requirements
Experience: Prior child & adolescent inpatient experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
- Active NJ medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
