By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a .Net Web Developer to join our team in Carlsbad, California (US-CA), United States (US).Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Prepares detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will bedeveloped and implemented.• Assist in the design and development of enterprise systems making specific determinations about system performance,reliability, and scalability.• Responds promptly and professionally to requests for support in order to troubleshoot and/or maintain production systems.• Conducts system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep information systems current with changingtechnologies.• Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, anddesigning solutions to problematic programming.• Responsible for developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of aquality product.• Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.• Tests new or enhanced programs to ensure logic and syntax are correct.• Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions,and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level.• Responsible for planning, processing, and performing all jobs/tasks in an efficient manner with little assistance fromsupervisor.• Maintains Client IT development standards and best practices• Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)• Developer with 3-4 years of experience in .NET Technologies• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)• Expert in Microsoft .NET technologies for development as well as support• Designing and implementing Information Technology solutions• Candidate is able to provide technical help to team mebers• Assist other Developer and Junior Developer, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.• Assist team members to modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues where team needs help• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain complex applications in C# and/or ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.• Experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data.• Experience interpreting and analyzing complex business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.• Experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).• Health Insurance industry experience will be a plusNice to Have; (But not a must)• Project lead experienceThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
