Ultrasound Tech Student

Overview Performs a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures according to established standards and practices under the direct and/or indirect supervision of an experienced or lead ultrasound/vascular technologist. Performs ultrasound imaging such as pelvic, abdominal, small parts, and routine vascular examinations (ex., peripheral vascular [arterial and venous], renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid artery) and may perform more complex imaging such as breast ultrasound, deep Doppler and guided interventional procedures (ex., biopsies). Prepares preliminary findings. Provides patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
