Field Service Technician

Essential Responsibilities Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment, or diesel engines. Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lubrication, and equipment checks). Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools). Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams. Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing an engine. Work well as part of a team. Willing to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions. Ability to travel, including overnight travel. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed. Can communicate via telephone and email. Qualification Requirements Strong customer service mindset and ability to drive, support, empower, and inspire Service teams and customers. At least 7 years’ experience in a technical role or extensive experience with issue resolution in field service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines). Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen, including basic IT skills. Willingness to work in a shift model (depending) and on call. Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems. Fluency in English is a must. Good interpersonal skills. Job Specific Knowledge Strong communication skills and experience in customer communications. Boundaryless and multicultural working mindset and team player. Able to work efficiently without direct supervision. Preferred Multi‑working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, including operational and commissioning of all engine types. Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6. Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure. Previous field experience is a bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
