Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life. Responsibilities: * Answer phones, electronic scheduling/ Posting, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/filling * Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment * Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staff * Change linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcases * Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment * Team player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service. * Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses * Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation * Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery * Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress * Record and document patient care services * Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care Qualifications: * Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fields * Ability to handle physical workload * Ability to build rapport with patients * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong leadership qualities The pay rate will be $$$/hour depending on experience.
