Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Wilson, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Float RN position located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the obstetrics and gynecology units, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and general med/surg overflow. The position offers the opportunity to work varying shifts, supporting the facility's commitment to quality maternal and neonatal care. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift (12-hour shifts), minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026. Required Qualifications: RN license, 2 years of labor and delivery experience, BLS certification, fetal monitoring class within the past 2 years, NRP certification, ACLS certification, located in or willing to commute from 60 miles or greater of the facility. Preferred Qualifications: Circulating experience in operating room for labor and delivery. Float: Float rotation may be required to sit or complete tasks for low census in labor and delivery and postpartum units. Additional Information: Facility department includes labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecology units with specialized equipment such as GE Centricity and Meditech electronic health records. The patient population includes obstetrics with standards set by AWHONN, with patient ratios generally 3-4:1 in labor and delivery. Dress code requires professional scrubs; scrubs are hospital supplied for labor and delivery. The position is a replacement of perm staff.
