Physical Therapy Aide

Job Summary The Physical Therapy Aide functions as a member of the Rehab team, assisting the PT, PTA, OT, or COTA in providing medically prescribed therapy programs in the hospital in accordance with national standards and administrative policies. The goal is to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery, or loss of a body part, allowing patients to achieve their maximum ability. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Prior rehab experience is preferred.
