Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Health Facility

Clinical Social Worker (Health Facility) – ISUDT/Complex Care Program Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the CSW provides clinical care and services to incarcerated individuals via telemedicine. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, risk assessments, level of care assessments, and screenings. Provide brief counseling, group therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention. Consult and collaborate with other disciplines and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination. Assist with and facilitate transitional care planning that links patients with community resources and services at release from CDCR. Qualifications include: Licensed Clinical Social Worker with licensure in California. Experience in substance use disorder treatment and reintegration services preferred. Ability to work in a correctional setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Clinical Counselor – ISUDT/Complex Care Program Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the CC applies counseling interventions and psychotherapeutic techniques within the scope of applicable Business and Professions Code(s) and license for the purpose of treating incarcerated individuals with Substance Use Disorder. Conduct assessments that assist with and facilitate transitional care planning and coordination that links incarcerated patients with resources. Qualifications include: Licensed Clinical Counselor with licensure in California, within the scope of applicable Business and Professions Code(s). Experience in substance use disorder treatment. Marriage & Family Therapist – ISUDT/Complex Care Program Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the MFT diagnoses and treats mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems, subject to applicable Business and Professions Code(s) and license. Travel to other CDCR adult institutions may be required. Assist with and facilitate transitional care planning and coordination. Qualifications include: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with licensure in California. Experience in family and couples therapy. Compensation & Benefits The CSW classification is subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. The authorized HAM rate for this classification is $8,876.
