Erosion Control Superintendent (SWPPP / Civil Sitework)

Job Description Job Description AK Fuquay Construction is a leading erosion control contractor based in Central Texas, supporting major commercial and civil projects across the region. With a strong backlog of work and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Erosion Control Superintendent to help lead field operations and drive performance across multiple crews. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, holds a high standard for quality, and can lead crews in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day field operations for multiple erosion control crews * Coordinate daily work activities and ensure efficient crew deployment * Lead, train, and support Foremen and field personnel * Oversee installation, maintenance, and inspection of erosion and sediment control measures * Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications * Monitor production, identify issues early, and resolve them in real time * Maintain accurate daily reporting and production tracking * Work closely with Division Manager to track billing quantities and job progress * Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients, and inspectors What Success Looks Like * Crews are productive, organized, and working efficiently each day * Work is installed correctly the first time with minimal call-backs * Field reporting is accurate, timely, and complete * Problems are identified and addressed immediately—not escalated later * Jobs are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards Qualifications Required: * 3-5+ years experience in erosion control, civil sitework, or related field * Experience managing crews and coordinating field operations * Working knowledge of SWPPP requirements and BMPs * Ability to read and interpret civil/site plans * Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred: * Experience working in the Central Texas market * Familiarity with digital reporting systems (Fulcrum or similar) * Background in production tracking and job costing awareness Company Description Our company, AK Fuquay Construction, is committed to providing our customers with world-class workmanship alongside customer service that is second to none.
