About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy, planning, and analysis. The CFO will be responsible for developing predictive financial models, maintaining financial systems, and ensuring the accuracy of financial results. This role involves close collaboration with the executive team to make strategic financial decisions and requires a candidate with a strong background in finance and management, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. The CFO will also oversee company audits, compliance, and bank relationships, and is expected to have a significant understanding of nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, and experience in maximizing revenue from various sources. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a B.S. in business management, finance, or a related field, with a Master’s degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 5 years' of experience in a CFO role, or equivalent, is required, with a preference for those with over 10 years' of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role, developing and implementing creative financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Key qualifications include the ability to supervise and evaluate performance, experience in financial and tax strategy recommendations, and the ability to manage relationships with financial partners. The CFO will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and leading the financial planning and analysis efforts of the organization.
