CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

CNC OperatorValmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the CNC Operator position in the Global Utility Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will operate the CNC Machines in a safe and efficient manner to aid in the fabrication process of Valmont products. Additionally, you will:Assist team members with other departmental tasks, cleaning, and general equipment maintenanceWork under the direction of the leader and report directly to the Shift SupervisorOperate the CNC burn table, drill press and other cutting or burning equipment and keep the department environment clean and safeInspect all parts produced to ensure quality standardsMaintain a clean and greased machine and perform daily TPMOperate overhead crane, plate blaster, cutting torch and forklift as neededWear required personal protective equipment and follow facility safety regulationsMaintain a safe and productive working environmentWhat it takes:The ability to accurately use and read a tape measure, thread gauges, micrometer, protractor, and dial calipersThe ability to work effectively in a team environmentMust have a high awareness for safety at all timesThe ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issuesThe ability to read and follow written and verbal instructionsThe ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividingHighly qualified candidates will also possess:High School Diploma or GED equivalentOne year of previous experience operating a CNC drillOne year of previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentOne year of previous experience operating hand and/or power tools in a professional environmentThe ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.Valmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family's overall wellness needs are met.
