AZ Center for Change (AZCFC) is seeking an experienced behavioral health leader to oversee our In-Home Services Program. This position is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational leadership of the department, ensuring high-quality services, strong staff performance, regulatory compliance, and continued program growth.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys building efficient systems, supporting staff development, solving operational challenges, and maintaining accountability for program performance.

Position Summary

The In-Home Services Manager is responsible for the clinical, administrative, and operational management of the department. The Manager is expected to actively monitor program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, remove barriers to success, and ensure that staff consistently provide high-quality services while meeting productivity and documentation expectations.

Success in this role requires initiative, sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to proactive leadership.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Leadership

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to In-Home Coordinators, clinicians, and interns.
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
• Support staff development through coaching, supervision, training, and performance feedback.
• Address performance concerns promptly and implement corrective action when necessary.
• Maintain program curricula and ensure services reflect evidence-based practices.

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations of the In-Home Services Department.
• Monitor referrals, admissions, census, discharges, caseload distribution, and staff productivity.
• Ensure referrals are reviewed, assigned, and scheduled promptly.
• Monitor schedules proactively and identify barriers that affect productivity, client engagement, or access to care.
• Utilize productivity reports, data dashboards, and operational metrics to guide decision-making and improve department performance.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, authorizations, treatment plans, and required reports.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct routine chart audits and quality assurance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with ADHS regulations, Arizona Models of Care, payer requirements, and agency policies.
• Review and respond to concerns raised by regulatory agencies, referral sources, and clients.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Arizona behavioral health regulations and admission requirements.
• Identify service deficiencies and implement corrective actions.

Program Development

• Foster positive working relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Assist with outreach and marketing efforts to support continued program growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve services, efficiency, and client outcomes.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Arizona behavioral health license.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in behavioral health.
• Experience providing clinical supervision and performance coaching.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Preferred

• Independent licensure.
• Experience managing community-based or in-home behavioral health programs.
• Experience with ADHS regulations and Arizona behavioral health systems.
• Experience utilizing electronic health records and operational reporting tools.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
