As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll support new infusion patients, deliver high-quality service, and help simplify healthcare for those who need it most.What you'll do:Serve as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers—answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing education.Guide new patients through the onboarding process with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.Handle a high volume of phone calls, using active listening and de-escalation skills for challenging situations.Multitask and prioritize effectively—navigating multiple computer screens and systems while capturing all necessary patient information.Work independently from home, reliably following shift, break, and lunch requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to support referrals and admissions.Required Qualifications2+ years' experience in healthcare or customer service, including working with insurance benefitsStrong verbal and written communication, empathy, and active listening—especially by phoneComfort with computers and Microsoft Office; able to multitask and navigate multiple screensReliable, organized, and able to work independently from home as scheduledHigh school diploma or GEDPreferred QualificationsExperience with healthcare insurance and medical terminologyCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)Experience providing telephonic customer service in a healthcare environmentPrior experience capturing information while toggling between multiple computer applicationsWhy CVS Health? The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
