Position Summary

Our Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management professionals work with business unit owners to support strategic third-party initiatives and help mitigate existing, new, and emerging risks associated with contract negotiations and long-term third-party service provider relationship management.

This role supports contracting and relationship management activities for third-party service providers within Credit One Bank. The incumbent will work closely with Third Party Risk Management (2LOD), Legal, IT, Business Unit Owners, and Third-Party Service Providers (TPSPs) to own and drive hard negotiations, manage third-party service providers, and help the bank make purchasing decisions. In addition, the role will entail the long-term relationship management which includes conducting due diligence and risk assessments, performance monitoring activities, and control execution in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Support Third-Party Risk contracting and relationship management activities for assigned Third-Party Service Providers (TPSPs).
• Thoroughly evaluate and complete full assessment of new third party products and services to ensure all business units bank wide have strong understanding of contracted products with a goal to reduce third-party redundancy across the bank. 
• Conduct routine and periodic risk assessments on assigned TPSPs in accordance with established frameworks and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain required Third-Party Risk documentation, inventories, assessments, and tracking reports.
• Monitor contractual requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and third-party deliverables, serving as the central point of contact to communicate identified issues to bank stakeholders and executive leadership. 

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Degree not required.
• 2 + years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Risk Management, Vendor Management, Compliance, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management principles, risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and control monitoring practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information and identify potential risks.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience reviewing contracts, vendor documentation, and risk-related materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree.
• Consumer credit card industry experience.
• Experience supporting Third-Party Risk Management, Vendor Management, Compliance, Audit, or Operational Risk functions.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to vendor oversight.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
