Patient Services Representative Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking to recruit & hire a Patient Services Representative. As a Patient Service Representative at PRN Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients. Brand: Spine & Sport Physical Therapy Pay: $18/hr (benefits offered) Schedule: Full time 40hrs/per week - clinic is open M-F 7am-6pm Saturdays 7am-12pm Location: 2240 E Plaza Blvd. National City, CA 91950 Duties & Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth. Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone. Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately. Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient's needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate. Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience. Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc. Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility. Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement. Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred. Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
