Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS and NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Willingness to take occasional Charge responsibilities Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a neurosurgical unit. Focuses on the care of patients with stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, spinal issues, and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery procedures. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
