Forage And Native Seed Sales Specialist
A Nationally Recognized Seed company is seeking a Forage and Native Seed Sales Specialist to add to their team in southeast Washington. This role is in-office with minimal travel to visit local landowners and attend industry trade shows. Located in a region that offers the choice of small town rural living or commuting from a large metro area.
Forage and Native Seed Sales Specialist Primary Function:
Learn company Seed product line and develop customer relationships to assist with recommendations for rangeland, agriculture and restoration projects.
Forage and Native Seed Sales Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and develop strong customer relationships
- Make recommendations to customers on range and restoration projects
- Understanding of regional seed markets
- Attend industry events
Forage and Native Seed Sales Specialist Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Agriculture, Botany, Environmental Science or related fields
- 2-4 years of agricultural industry sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of forage and native grasses is beneficial
- Excellent ability to work autonomously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
