Quick Facts Location: 1510 North 28th Street, Richmond, VA 23223 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: 08/31/2026 Shift: Office hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / Call hours 24/7 (weekday included) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Locum to Perm License/Certs: Virginia Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: 2+ years in OB/GYN required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits include: Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Weekly pay via direct deposit Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team to assist throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to low and high-risk patients Perform routine OB ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and interpret FHR readings Manage deliveries, including low forceps, VBACs, and C-sections Conduct gynecological exams and minor surgical procedures like IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP Assist in hospital call coverage, including labor and delivery Collaborate with midwives and support staff to ensure continuity of care Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system What You Need Valid Maryland Medical License and OB/GYN certification At least 2 years of recent OB/GYN clinical experience Strong clinical skills in high-volume practice settings Ability to perform low and high-risk OB procedures and gynecologic surgeries Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment is with a reputable OB/GYN practice that provides both office and hospital-based care. The practice maintains a supportive environment, with onsite ultrasounds and labs, a Level 2 NICU, and a team of dedicated midwives and staff. You will cover a busy schedule with 25-30 patients daily, balancing office work with hospital call duties.
