Primary Location: United States of America – OHIO – Franklin County – Columbus. Salary: $32.35 per hour. Schedule: Full‑time. Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Union: Exempt from Union. Overview The Bureau of Motor Vehicles oversees driver and motor vehicle licensing and registration and continues to make services more convenient, efficient and cost‑effective. What You'll Do Under direct supervision of the Chief of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ Investigations Section, direct the operation of the District Investigations Office and supervise assigned investigators. Assign all cases requiring investigation within the district; meet with investigators to review cases and provide guidance and assistance; act as a coordinator and maintain accountability for all cases. Review and analyze all routine reports and complaints and route to proper source. Assume responsibility for the conduct and performance of all investigations assigned to the district. Qualifications Option 1: 2 years of investigation experience with experience corresponding to the type of complaints and alleged violations appearing in the job posting/approved position description; AND a valid driver's license. Option 2: 3 years of training or 3 years of experience as an investigator where experience does not correspond with cases/complaints/allegations to be assigned; AND a valid driver's license.
