• Provide education to patients and caregivers to bolster progress beyond the therapy room.
• Aid with occasional evaluations and treatments in an inpatient setting to ensure seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Keep precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Continually advance your expertise by engaging in ongoing education and collaborating with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA-certification is pending.

Certifications Required

• State licensure for Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is advantageous.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within the initial 30 days of employment.
