Your Role in Healing

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.
• Create tailored therapy plans addressing both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs of your patients.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy speech interventions that focus on communication, language ability, fluency, voice control, and swallowing functions.
• Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, medical professionals, and families to curate comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress beyond the therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to maintain continuity in patient care.
• Accurately document patient progress in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaborative efforts with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Necessary Certifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
