Shipping/Receiving Associate

Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments in a light production/office environment.

Responsibilities

Retrieve incoming mail and packages from delivery drivers and local USPS.
Open packages, verify contents to packaging documents, and log receipt.
Prepare intake documents as needed.
Verify contents of outgoing orders to accompanying paperwork and carefully package them for shipment via Fedex, UPS or USPS.
Transfer outgoing packages to delivery drivers or to Fedex and USPS as occasionally needed.
Track packaging materials inventory and reorder as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role required.
Keen attention to detail required.
Knowledge of Stamps.com and Fedex shipping applications desired
Knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel desired.
Must be able to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
