Position Requirements Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1. Curriculum Leadership Lead the implementation of the Concept Schools curriculum and instructional framework. Collaborate with Central Office Academic Directors to ensure curriculum alignment and instructional consistency. Guide teachers in curriculum planning, lesson design, and effective instructional practices. Promote the integration of instructional technology and innovative teaching strategies. 2. Instructional Leadership Monitor classroom instruction through lesson plan reviews, walkthroughs, and observations. Support teachers in implementing research‑based instructional strategies and interventions. Ensure high‑quality teaching practices that promote student achievement. 3. Assessment and Data Analysis Coordinate standardized testing and assessment programs. Lead teachers in analyzing assessment data and developing instructional action plans. Monitor student achievement data and support interventions to improve academic performance. 4. Teacher Coaching and Evaluation Coach, mentor, and support teachers through regular feedback and professional growth plans. Conduct classroom observations, walkthroughs, and formal evaluations. Promote accountability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 5. Professional Learning Plan, organize, and facilitate professional development aligned with school improvement goals. Coordinate teacher collaboration, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and department meetings. Identify staff training needs and support continuous professional growth. 6. Student Academic Success Monitor student academic progress and coordinate intervention strategies. Collaborate with counselors, teachers, students, and families to improve student performance. Support programs such as Saturday School, RTI, SPED, EL, CBL, and other academic interventions. 7. STEM, PBL, and Academic Innovation Lead the implementation of STEM, Project‑Based Learning (PBL), and other instructional initiatives. Collaborate with department heads and the STEM team to ensure high‑quality implementation. Coordinate classroom showcases, school visits, and STEM accreditation efforts. 8. School Improvement and Leadership Assist the Principal in developing and implementing the School Improvement Plan and academic SMART goals. Prepare academic reports and ensure compliance with district, sponsor, state, and federal requirements. Support grant applications and other academic initiatives as assigned. 9. Academic Operations Oversee academic scheduling, testing, attendance monitoring, instructional resources, and related academic operations. Assist with the development of the master schedule and teacher assignments. Ensure instructional resources and educational materials effectively support learning. 10. Administrative Leadership Assist the Principal with hiring, onboarding, staff supervision, parent engagement, and community partnerships. Attend leadership meetings, parent conferences, educational audits, and school events. Perform other duties assigned by the Principal. Work Schedule Work a minimum of 210 contracted days.
