Civil Engineer (PE) Amarillo, TX Duration: Direct hire Location: Amarillo, TX Pay Rate: $90-130k/yr System One is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) on a direct hire position located in Amarillo, TX. Civil Engineer Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, analysis, and execution of civil engineering aspects of large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects, including power generation facilities, renewable energy installations, and utility infrastructure. Lead and perform civil engineering design for site development, grading, drainage, foundations, roads, and utilities in compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, ASTM). Develop and review engineering deliverables including calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated design solutions. Ensure all civil engineering work adheres to safety and quality standards. Prepare and present technical reports and participate in client meetings as needed. Civil Engineer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). Active PE license in Texasor ability to obtain one within 6 months. 3+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, preferably in an EPC or heavy industrial setting. Experience with large-scale industrial, power generation, or energy projects is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. #M1
