Head of Skincare & Capital Equipment Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy Location: Irvine, California The Head of Skincare Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy is responsible for all commercial aspects of the new product pipeline and the overall franchise strategy for the global skincare, electromechanical device and body contouring businesses within Allergan Aesthetics. This individual will lead a team to develop and deliver against a pipeline strategy that contributes business growth, drives category leadership, and optimizes portfolio value. The role involves building an understanding of the global market landscape, trends, customer and consumer needs, and creating a plan to address gaps through internal and external innovation. The strategy will balance hero products and portfolio SKUs, and support expansion into new markets with prioritized and phased approaches. Key Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the single commercial owner of the skincare and electromechanical device pipeline and global franchise strategy. Leverage market research, competitive intelligence, and KOL insights to inform and evolve global skincare and body contouring strategies. Identify growth opportunities via new product introductions and portfolio optimization. Develop an expansion strategy that prioritizes new market opportunities based on internal synergies and external market and regulatory considerations. Support the team in providing all necessary commercial inputs for new product introductions, including target product profile attributes, packaging, commercial claims, and tactics. Build close working relationships with R&D, regulatory/legal, medical affairs, market research, operations, and key opinion leaders. Develop early brand plans and early commercialization strategies, including positioning, key claim, and branding. Act as the commercial pipeline lead in strategic business planning workstreams, governance boards, and business unit meetings. Lead the Skincare, Electromechanical Device and Body Contouring Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy Team and provide growth and development opportunities to employees. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in the beauty or skincare industry, in pipeline or marketing functions. 3+ years of people leadership experience. Exceptional creative and conceptual problem‑solving skills, and analytical expertise. Ability to prioritize commercial opportunities across the portfolio and develop integrated, long‑term strategies for capturing maximum commercial value. Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally within a matrixed organization. Strong people leadership and management skills. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills; proven ability to influence senior management and global thought leaders. Solid understanding of product life cycle stages, including launch. Knowledge of global skincare markets, consumer needs, trends, competitor dynamics, and go‑to‑market nuances.
