As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing care to a diverse patient population. From managing surgical patients to addressing respiratory and cardiac needs, your expertise will be vital in ensuring optimal patient outcomes. With a supportive nursing supervisor and a collaborative team environment, you'll thrive in this role.

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including pneumonia, UTI, dehydration, and more
• Administer and titrate medications such as Heparin, Bumex, and Lasix
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 respiratory therapy support
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and participate in bedside shift reports
• Float to IMCU for Med Surg assignments as needed
• Adhere to a navy blue scrub dress code

Requirements:

• BLS and CPI certifications required
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Experience with EPIC documentation
• Ability to manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
