Role Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy designed to support language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to establish cohesive and effective care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to aid in progress during and after therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions in care throughout the treatment process.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation synchronized with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet awarded ASHA certification.

Necessary Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
