Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)This organization encompasses a multi-campus facility located in Ocala, Florida, consisting of a 323-bed facility in the heart of Ocala and an additional 222-bed facility located in west Marion County. An expansion is slated to open in September 2025, adding 42 beds at one of the campuses. The outpatient network includes primary care specialists, advanced imaging centers, a Wound and Hyperbaric Center, cardiac rehabilitation, and various surgical and physician specialty practices.The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is a crucial role that requires at least 2 years of experience in the field. The RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Assess patients before surgery and prepare them for the operative process.Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures.Administer medications and manage anesthesia as directed by the surgical team.Assist with surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and support to the surgical team.Maintain sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.Document all care provided and maintain accurate patient records.Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room or similar nursing environment.Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and best nursing practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Location: Ocala, FL
