Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program
• Strongly preferred: Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
