Job Details

• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Average Scans: Approximately 10 per day
• Patient Population: Emergency patients including motor vehicle collisions (MVC), shortness of breath (SOB), falls, injuries, and DVT evaluations
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Philips iSite
• Equipment: Siemens S2000 Ultrasound System
• On-Call: 2 nights per month (technologist may choose the two nights)
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 75% of holidays

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience in the specialty required
• First-time travelers considered based on overall experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ARDMS certification required
• Proficiency performing DVT ultrasound studies
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency setting
