Veteran Relations & Outreach Specialist

Position Summary NuView Treatment Center is a Joint Commission–accredited outpatient facility specializing in evidence-based care for substance use disorders (SUD), co-occurring mental health conditions, and dual diagnoses. We focus on holistic recovery, reintegration into society, and long-term wellness for every client. The ideal candidate understands veteran culture, military service experiences, and the importance of respectful, mission-driven communication when working with veteran communities and healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain professional relationships with VA centers, Vet Centers, veteran organizations, TriWest partners, and military-connected communities Serve as a trusted point of contact between NuView Treatment Center and veteran referral sources Support clear communication around behavioral health, mental health, substance use, and dual diagnosis treatment options Attend veteran-focused conferences, networking events, community meetings, and outreach opportunities Help identify ways NuView can better support veterans and military-connected individuals seeking care Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and respect when working with veteran-serving organizations and referral partners Preferred Qualifications Experience with veterans, VA systems, TriWest, healthcare outreach, referral coordination, or community relations Behavioral health, mental health, substance use disorder, or treatment-center experience is strongly preferred Understanding of veteran culture, military service experiences, and healthcare referral processes Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant military, behavioral health, healthcare, outreach, or community liaison experience will also be considered Veterans and military-connected candidates are strongly encouraged to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr NuView Treatment Center
