Job Summary To continue providing excellent client service, HCM Wealth Advisors is adding a Client Service Associate team member. We are looking for a financial services professional to serve as the liaison between the Client and the Financial Advisor, while also supporting the firm's tax return management process during tax season. We are a digital-forward firm, and this role plays a key part in keeping client paperwork, digital forms, and tax documents moving through an efficient, largely paperless workflow. This is an in-person, in-office job opportunity, with the ability to work one day a week remotely after training. Key Duties & Responsibilities Accurately prepare and process paperwork for new and existing clients Correctly process distributions to clients Communicate with the Custodian (Charles Schwab) to accurately complete required documents Process and manage incoming/outgoing transfers of cash and assets Research and resolve account related issues Be available to answer calls, resolve issues, and respond to client requests in a timely fashion Manage client relationship management (CRM) records by maintaining client profiles and information Serve as the liaison between the client, Custodian, and Financial Advisor Assemble, scan, and process tax documents (paper and e-file), managing the scan and autoflow process and keeping tax projects in UltraTax up to date Send client invoices and tax summaries, greet clients dropping off documents, and assist Tax Staff with filing and appointments Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred At least 2-3 years of experience working in the financial services field (bank, brokerage, investment, or advisory firm); tax office experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Comfortable with digital forms, e-signature, and paperless document workflows Great interpersonal skills and a dedication to client service Excellent communication, time management and organization skills Confident and a strong work ethic, with a desire to succeed Great written and verbal communication skills Ability and desire to contribute to a team effort Enjoy working in a small company environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Long-term opportunity in a growing firm, with the possibility of career advancement Health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays Education reimbursement Ability to work remotely one day a week once fully onboarded HCM Wealth Advisors & CPAs is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr HCM Wealth Advisors & CPAs
